Last Update 16 giorni fa

As of June 6th, 2025, Matthew's Development introduced an updated system where if someone sent a flagged website, you can now see the reason why the domain is flagged inside of the logs.

This information can also be helpful if you are using the SHADOW OS Security Extension from itch.io. The extension can be obtained from: https://matthewfilmsproductions.itch.io/shadowossecurity (This extension is for Google Chrome).

Below is a list of most of the major flags and what is means if the domain is flagged with that flag reason. This guide will help you see what is the most malicious flags to receive if you are using the Discord bot or using the Python script that comes with the SHADOW OS chrome extension..

Flagged domain reason meanings

- Suspicious = Domains with this flag may act suspiciously and is advised to avoid.

- Crypto/NFT website = Websites with this flag is a website that is mainly connected to cryptocurrencies or NFTs. This flag exists because NFTs are scams and using cryptocurrencies can harm the environment.

- Scam site / Phishing = Domain with either of these flag reasons is a scam website that can either trick you into putting in account login details/personal information/payment information, make you fill out scam surveys. Sometimes you may see sites like this flagged as Info Stealer

- IP Grabber = Domains with this flag are websites intended to steal your IP address. Commonly used for Doxxing. Sometimes you may see sites like this flagged as Info Stealer

- Unknown or other Malicious behaviour = Domains with this flag has an unknown reasoning (usually flagged before the new system was made) or may do other malicious activity like attempting to make you solve fake captchas.

- Malware Site = Domains with this flag is intended to try and download malware/viruses onto your computer without your knowledge. Sometimes you may see sites like this flagged as Crypto Miner if the virus contains some form of crypto miner. Crypto miners can destroy your PC. The Crypto Miner flag is pretty rare to encounter though.

- Dangerous = Domains that have this flag is the worst flag to get. Websites with this flag can severely threaten the security of users or services. Some websites with this flag can even be illegal.

TIP for server moderators using the SHADOW OS bot: If a member tries to send a website with the "Dangerous" flag, it is highly recommended to ban the user as domains with this flag is the worst flag to receive.
